Trade show display booths have changed in many ways from the bulky, difficult-to-set-up versions that users may remember. Today’s versions of the pop up displays are less expensive than yesterday’s display stands, and they are easier to set up, too, thanks to lighter, more inexpensive materials.
Older display stands such as traditional foot and pole banner stand system, wherein the graphic was attached to the frame. The frame was often made of a heavy metal material, and printed on paper or scrim banner media as a backdrop, increasing the weight for shipment and making set-up more difficult. Today, banner stands graphics are printed on a wide variety media that allows for different finished looks and applications. The graphic print is incorporated directly into retractable banner stands base, making set-up as easy as unrolling a window shade.
Even display lights have evolved of the years. There are wider selections with different sizes, shapes, and finishes. The older display lights not only used higher wattage but the weight was much heavier making them difficult to attach to the frame of the display. Today there are multiple light options for your trade show displays they even have banner stand lights. Not only are these light lighter in weight but they install easier by simply clicking onto the display frame.
The trade show display booth today is much improved over its costly, difficult-to-assemble predecessor. Not only is today’s display industry less expensive in both initial purchasing costs and recurring shipping costs, but it also simplifies set-up for its users.
